Capture choices affect the cutout
Use even light, avoid hard shadows crossing the product edge, and create contrast between the product and backdrop. Keep the whole item in frame; the tool cannot reconstruct clipped edges.

Does this add a white marketplace background?
No. BG GHOST exports a transparent PNG. You can place it on a white canvas in another editor if your marketplace requires one.
Are shadows removed too?
The model may treat detached or faint shadows as background. Results vary, so inspect whether the shadow is important to the product presentation.
Will the original resolution be preserved?
Successful exports keep the original pixel dimensions. The AI estimates the foreground at 512 × 512 pixels and scales its mask to the original image, so fine details can still be softened or lost.
